At just 17 years old, Cheyenne touched the lives of so many with her joyful spirit, kind heart, and selfless nature. She passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family and friends.
Born in Anchorage, Alaska, on September 14, 2007, to Kirstin McDonald, Cheyenne was a light from the very beginning. Her warm smile and encouraging personality could brighten any room. She had a natural gift for lifting others up—always cheering on her loved ones, celebrating their wins, and offering support in their challenges. She was a true people pleaser, not out of obligation, but because her heart was built for giving.
Cheyenne had dreams as big as her heart. A dedicated student and aspiring healthcare professional, she was enrolled in nursing school and had already begun job shadowing at local hospitals. Her goal of becoming an anesthesiologist was just one of the many ways she hoped to care for others. She balanced her studies with a job she loved at Finn’s, and still found time to volunteer in the community—serving with joy, humility, and a generous spirit.
She also found joy in softball, where her energy and teamwork shone on and off the field. Her teammates and coaches will always remember her positive attitude and commitment. Cheyenne leaves behind a loving and devoted family who will forever cherish her memory: her parents, Kirstin and Keith McDonald; her siblings, Maci and Addisynn; her grandparents, great-grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and many beloved friends. She joins her father, Lucas Rashotte, in eternal peace.
