Nathan Moss Obituary, Round Rock, TX Death, Motorcycle Accident: It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Nathan Moss, a beloved resident of Round Rock, Texas, who tragically lost his life in a motorcycle accident on April 5, 2025. Nathan was a devoted father, cherished friend, and an integral part of the Round Rock community.
Nathan James Moss was born on August 14, 1984, in Sulphur Springs, Texas, to Larry and Helen Moss. He graduated from Como-Pickton High School in 2005. Nathan had a deep passion for superheroes, enjoyed playing video games, and had an extensive collection of movies and CDs. He was known for his warm heart, infectious laughter, and unwavering dedication to his family and friends.
Nathan is survived by his parents; his sisters, Amy Scaff and husband Jay, Megan Moss and Cecil Dale, and Amanda Isbell; his brother, Mason Moss and wife Ashley; his grandmother, Joyce Odom; and his nieces and nephews, Lanie, Riley, Raegan, Piper, Everleigh, and Aria. He was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Beth Beadles and Sarah “Pepa” Moss, and grandfathers, Sonny Moss and Donald Odom.
Nathan’s life was characterized by his unwavering commitment to his family and his vibrant presence in the community. As a father of three young children, he was known for his hands-on approach to parenting, always making time for his kids and ensuring they felt loved and supported. His fiancée, Rachel Nyfield, shared, “He was an amazing father, he would always make time for the kids.”
Beyond his role as a father, Nathan was a passionate motorcyclist who found joy and freedom on the open road. He was also an active member of the Round Rock community, participating in local events and always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need. His infectious smile and positive attitude left a lasting impression on everyone he met.
In honor of Nathan’s memory, his family has requested that memorials be made to the Hopkins County Blue Santa in care of the Hopkins County Sheriff’s Office, 208 Rosemont, Sulphur Springs, TX 75482. Nathan’s untimely departure has left a void in the hearts of all who knew him. His legacy of love, kindness, and community spirit will continue to inspire and comfort those he left behind.
